The association “Les Amis du Suffolk Regiment” is a non-profit organization created in 1989 under the structure of the French law of 1901, comprised solely of passionate volunteers.
At its inception, the association set out to celebrate the heroic deeds of our British liberators, particularly the Suffolk Regiment, which captured the Hillman position on June 6-7, 1944. This was initially achieved through the maintenance of the bunker-memorial and the organization of D-Day celebrations.
